ARTIST'S INSPIRATION
Samasthiti comes from the Sanskrit root words sama, meaning “same”, and sthiti, meaning “to establish” or “to stand.” In this form, every aspect of the foot is grounded down, and can be used to cultivate a connection with the earth. It can feel more of a command of attention, bringing you into the present moment. And yet, when we are completely connected to the space that we occupy, how do we open to life around and within us?
