Creation can only exist with destruction. In Hindu mythology, Kali grew out of the anger of the goddess Durga. She is personified as wrath and embodiment fury. She brings out all aspects of ourselves that we try to hide. Dark blue, gaunt with sunken eyes, Kali wears a tiger skin and a garland of human skulls. She is a protector of nature and a destroyer of dark forces. She comes from the darkness, before time. The source of time itself.
